New Transfer Bonuses for Flying Blue, Avianca and Virgin Atlantic

All three major credit card rewards programs have launched transfer bonuses this month for airline partners. Citi has a 25% bonus for Flying Blue, Amex has a 15% bonus for Lifemiles and Chase has launched a 30% bonus for Virgin Atlantic.

Citi to Flying Blue

Transfer Citi ThankYou Points to the Flying Blue program and receive 25% Bonus Flying Blue Miles. Offer is valid for Point Transfers to Flying Blue completed by 11:59 PM ET on May 20, 2022.

With this promotion, if you transfer 1,000 ThankYou Points, you get 1,250 Flying Blue Miles. Must transfer at least 1,000 ThankYou Points. You can see the promotion here.

Amex to Avianca Lifemiles

American Express is offering a transfer bonus promotion where you can get 15% more Avianca LifeMiles when you transfer Membership Rewards points.

The regular transfer rate is 1000 Membership Rewards points = 1000 Life Miles. So with this promotion you can get 1000 Membership Rewards points = 1150 LifeMiles.

You can see the promotion here. Valid through May 31, 2022. Minimum transfer is 1,000 American Express Membership Rewards points.

Chase to Virgin Atlantic

Get 30% Bonus Virgin Flying Club Miles when you transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points through 11:59 PM EST on June 15, 2022. For example, if you transfer 1,000 Ultimate Rewards points, you will receive a total of 1,300 Virgin Flying Club Miles.

Bonus Miles will be awarded by Virgin Atlantic in your Flying Club account when your transfer is complete. You can transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards here. Minimum transfer is 1,000 Ultimate Rewards points.
