As many of you know I am currently towards the end of a months long trip that has taken me and my family all around the globe. One of the cool side goals with this trip has been to visit every Disney resort and we are now in Paris to complete our “Disney Around the World” adventure.
For the first part of our Paris stay we are in the city, however once we head out to Disneyland we want to stay nearby the parks. While there are a few points options near Disneyland Paris plus Disney hotels as well, in my opinion the best value is to stay at one of the independent hotels located near the Val D’ Europe mall and only 5-10 minutes from Disneyland Paris Resort.
Travelocity fortunately features a ton of options in this area including both traditional hotels and family friendly apartment style hotels which are great for traveling families. We stayed at one of these hotels during Ellie’s first birthday trip in 2016 and really loved the convenience. The mall has a supermarket and a ton of shopping and the apartment style room had a ton of space.
To check for our upcoming trip I used Travelocity and found a ton of options including some apartment hotels that are in a great location and close to both the mall and the parks. Analysis
If like me your upcoming travel plans include areas with a ton of independent options, then this is a sale worth looking at! 17% off hotels is a substantial amount and while this coupon doesn’t work everywhere, my experience with Travelocity coupons in the past has been positive. I have found they work at a ton of independent properties that I wouldn’t normally consider otherwise.
Conclusion
With one of the best selections of hotels anywhere, great discounts and an easy to use website, Travelocity is one of my favorite search options when staying in areas where hotel points just don’t work for me. With 17% off select hotels during the One Big Day promo, I’ll be checking to see how I can best use this promo for more of my upcoming family adventures.
