TSA Adds CLEAR as Official TSA PreCheck® Enrollment Provider

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) said today that CLEAR is now an official partner that will offer TSA PreCheck enrollment services at participating airports.

Through this partnership, you can also get a discount when applying for both programs. You will pay just $199.95 (instead of $266.95) for 5 years of TSA PreCheck® and your first year of CLEAR Plus. However, both programs are complimentary with several premium credit cards.

CLEAR now offers in-person TSA PreCheck enrollments and renewals at:

  • Orlando International Airport (MCO) from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. ET daily
  • Sacramento International Airport (SMF) Sunday through Friday from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. PT daily
  • Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. ET daily.

Travelers will enroll at CLEAR’s dedicated TSA PreCheck airport enrollment pods. CLEAR will expand enrollment locations over time to additional CLEAR airport locations.

Following today’s announcement, TSA PreCheck members may renew their memberships online with CLEAR, IDEMIA or Telos, regardless of who they enrolled with initially.

After launching more than 10 years ago, TSA PreCheck is now a popular DHS Trusted Traveler Program for low-risk travelers with more than 19 million passengers.

  1. So I am wondering if they will allow residence cards for clear. I enrolled with my federal residency card and used the service fine; however, Jan 1 they no longer allowed federal ID as enrollment. I have pre check and global entry. Wondering if they will nos be able to able to use the same ID that precheck accepts?
