Enroll for TSA Precheck at Select Staples Locations Nationwide

TSA PreCheck is a good way to breeze through security checks at airports. You get to keep your jacket, belt and shoes on, while electronics and 3-1-1 compliant liquids stay packed in bags. TSA says that In August 2018, 94% of TSA PreCheck passengers waited less than 5 minutes in line.

But enrolling in TSA PreCheck is not always that easy. You have to schedule an appointment at airports or government buildings that offer the service and it could take weeks or even months depending on your location.

Update 12/23/22: Just a reminder that this is an option for you with how hard it is to find appointments at the airport these days.

Enroll for TSA Precheck at Staples

Now, enrolling in TSA PreCheck just became even easier! IdentoGO, enrollment provider for TSA PreCheck is opening 50 centers in Staples retail stores in 2018, with plans for further expansion next year.

Conclusion

Making it available at Staples around the country should make it easir to apply for many people. But I would suggest to look at Global Entry first. It provides all the TSA PreCheck benefit plus expedited US customs screening for international air travelers when entering the United States. it does cost $100 instead of $85 but hopefully you’re getting either one for free through a premium credit card like Amex Platinum, Chase Sapphire Reserve, Capital One Venture Card and a few others.

  1. so basically the federal government makes security checks unbearable and then charges us to make is less so? how is that right or fair?

  2. What’s next? Global Entry interview at Office Depots? Out of all places.. I’ve never thought I would see ‘Staples’ and ‘TSA’ in one sentence.
