Two Popular Amex Credits See Massive Expansion
American Express has announced improvements to two of its popular lifestyle and travel credits.
First, Amex has added more than 350 hotels to Fine Hotels + Resorts and The Hotel Collection, significantly expanding the number of properties where eligible cardholders can use their hotel benefits. Also, Resy has added Tock’s restaurants, wineries and experiences to its platform, with hundreds of those venues set to become eligible for Amex Resy credits beginning September 15.
Amex Expands Fine Hotels + Resorts and The Hotel Collection
American Express Travel has added more than 350 new properties to Fine Hotels + Resorts and The Hotel Collection, bringing the combined portfolio to more than 3,400 hotels across 116 countries.
That is particularly useful for Platinum Card holders, who now receive up to $600 per year in hotel credits that can be used on prepaid Fine Hotels + Resorts and eligible Hotel Collection bookings.
The new additions include properties across the U.S., Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia and New Zealand, including hotels from brands such as Park Hyatt, St. Regis, Waldorf Astoria, Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton Reserve and Luxury Collection, along with a large number of independent properties.
Fine Hotels + Resorts bookings come with benefits including daily breakfast for two, a $100 property credit, guaranteed 4 p.m. checkout, room upgrades when available and noon check-in when available. The Hotel Collection offers a $100 property credit and other benefits on qualifying stays of at least two nights. You can see the full list of 351 hotels here.
Resy Credit Expands to Tock Restaurants and Wineries
Amex’s Resy credits are also becoming significantly more useful.
Resy has integrated some of Tock’s inventory into its platform, expanding the combined network to more than 25,000 venues. That includes restaurants, tasting rooms, wineries and other hospitality experiences.
More importantly for Amex cardholders, beginning September 15, 2026, eligible purchases made through Tock and at hundreds of participating Tock venues in the U.S. will qualify for the Resy statement credit available on select Amex cards. More Tock restaurants are expected to become eligible over time.
This affects several cards, including the Amex Gold, Platinum and various Delta cards. The Platinum Card currently offers up to $400 annually in Resy credits, while the Gold Card offers up to $100 annually. Delta Platinum and Reserve cards also have monthly Resy credits.
Cardholders will still need to make sure a venue is eligible for the credit. Qualifying locations will display a Resy Credit badge on their page.
