  1. This is obviously a good ol’ mistake airfare. Was there a “fuel surcharge” that they failed to attach?

    I booked one. I hope I don’t regret it, given the 24 hour flying time in coach! JAL has a good reputation for coach service, however. I did see that some flights booked into AA metal, which I avoided.

    I’m not going to make any immediate travel plans, as there’s always a chance the tickets could be cancelled. Given the price and the breadth of the offer — many days from many cities — this could be rather costly to JAL. Especially since the deal still seems to be live more than 8 hours after it was first published on the web.
