This week as the Mirage prepares to close in a few weeks, we got a couple of interesting stories from the hotel. First, Shin Lim has announced his new home, with him moving over to the Venetian. We also learned that the popular tram linking Mirage and Treasure Island has now closed forever. Is this a big loss for the city?


In other news Shawn discusses his impressions of the new carpet and other recent changes at Rio. Is it starting to add up to something better? He also discusses an insanely long bonus which didn’t result in much. Other topics discussed include: the scary hours at a casino, UFC’s Noche, more crazy big Nevada gaming numbers and which Vegas casino might be in for a big expansion.
