Miles to Memories Update
A lot is happening here at Miles to Memories, so I thought I would just write this quick post to catch everyone up on the latest and what to look forward to.
A Big Trip
This week I am leaving to Asia with my family for awhile. We’ll be hanging around some of my favorite cities in the world (Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Tokyo and more) and generally getting into trouble. This is Ellie’s first trip to Asia and will be her longest flight yet at just under 18 hours. Who I am kidding?!? It’s my longest flight ever too!
Lots of Disney
Over the next six weeks and as part of this trip I’ll be visiting every single Disney park and resort in the world. I started this week with Disneyland Resort in Anaheim and will be covering the best Disney Hacks for every resort worldwide right here. To celebrate this, I launched an intimate Disney Hacks Worldwide Facebook group to share my unique knowledge with all of you. Please join!
Instagram & Travel Group
Mark and I have also been working hard at growing our Travel Hacking Facebook group as well as the Miles to Memories Instagram. We have 8,500 group members & 8KÂ followers on Instagram. If you want to see some awesome stuff I’ll be posting pictures and stories daily from my travels across the globe the next couple of months. Follow us!
More Travel Content
With all of my travel, the plan is to get a lot more travel content up on the site. That means more hotel & plane reviews sure, but it also means a lot more family travel content and real world hacks that I’ll share as I experience them. I’ve been traveling around the world with small children since 2007, so it’s time to bring a bit more of that back to Miles to Memories.
More Great Deals & Guides
In addition to all of the new content and our goal of bringing you unique and inspiring things to read, we are still going to cover all of the same great deals and provide credit card reviews and guides like we have before. Basically we are throwing in a tad more of the “memories” while keeping the “miles” portion of our name as strong as ever.
A Goodbye & The Future
Before I go I do have one sad (for us) thing to report. Senior Editor Bethany Walsh has decided to leave Miles to Memories to pursue other projects. We wish her the very best in her future pursuits and are excited that she is still hanging around as a moderator in our Travel Hacking Facebook group. Good luck Bethany!
This might open up some opportunities to work with Miles to Memories, so stayed tuned for more info on that later…
See y’all on the road and come talk Disney with me!

[…] Walsh left Miles to Memories to “pursue other projects”. Don’t be surprised if you see her appear at TPG too! I think she was great. If you read this […]
Hope she is not going to TPG too!

That is good to hear. Tbh, the original content has been lacking. It may be why Mark’s baseball ball park series (cancelled?) got my attention. Something unique and cannot get from anything else. Have fun on your trip.
Not canceled just takes a lot of work and I have fallen behind. I have three I need to write up from last year and should be hitting 3-4 more this year as well.
I can’t believe Bthany is moving on!
