Las Vegas may now be open with new health & safety restrictions and less people overall, but that hasn’t stopped many of the city’s construction projects from going on. Despite some brief pauses, several of Vegas’ billion dollar projects are now moving ahead full steam. Now you get to see them!

Vegas’ most high profile billion dollar project is now complete! A few days ago I showed you what the completed Allegiant Stadium looks like and today we’ll many of the other high profile construction projects happening in Las Vegas plus where to get the best tacos in town!

In this video you’ll see:

  • MSG Sphere This $1.6 billion theater/arena will be a state of the art place to experience a show. Made mostly for concerts, this venue will hold 17,500 people and will features immersive screens on the inside and outside! Construction had been paused for awhile, but it looked to be going full steam ahead.
  • Las Vegas Convention Center Expansion This massive project is nearing completion with a finish date of December, 2020. This will feature Elon Musk’s first attempt at mass transit utilizing Boring company’s technology and modified Teslas. So exciting!
  • Resorts World Las Vegas Born out of a failed casino project, Resorts World Las Vegas is about a year away. You’ll see how the building is taking shape and what to expect when Vegas’ most expensive casino ever is open.

  • Las Vegas Gateway Arch This new $6.5 million gateway to Las Vegas will be an incredible landmark for generations to come. It’s going to be amazing.
  • Circa Resort & Casino The signs are finally up on the building plus I found a spot to get an amazing view of Circa’s unique pool area. This place will be adults only and feature the largest sports book in the world. Check out our Circa construction video if you want to see more!
  • Virgin Hotels Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel has closed and is being converted to Virgin Hotels and the Mohegan Sun Casino. See the latest progress on this project which should open later this year. We also checked out some Downtown and Strip construction as well. 

Vegas Construction Tour August 2020 – Billion Dollar Projects – Bottom Line

Vegas is about to get two new massive casinos after a long drought plus a new “Vegas sign” and a futuristic people mover. That doesn’t even count the state of the art MSG Sphere or many of the other projects around Vegas.
