Vegas Strip Night Time Walking Tour – Late July 2020

Yesterday I covered the news about Las Vegas and its many troubles. With many hotels sitting largely empty and a huge new round of layoffs at some properties, it seems tough times are ahead. And then there is Las Vegas Sands’ announcement of their almost $1B second quarter loss. Sigh.

I stayed on the Strip recently and took a walk along the Center Strip to show you what it’s like. Here was the view from my room.

Between the current uncertainty, several casinos that have yet to open, several more for sale and the recently completed Caesars Entertainment merger, it’s safe to say that Vegas will be an interesting place to watch this next year. Just as has always been the case, Vegas is evolving in both good times and bad. But what is it like down on the Strip?

I have filmed several Vegas tour videos and highly suggest checking them out. Today’s video takes us to the Center Strip for a look at what it’s like in Vegas right now. We’ll take a walk along the Strip and even take in a show at the famous Bellagio Fountains. You’ll notice some new quirks like scooters everywhere and far fewer people, but thankfully the rest doesn’t disappoint. Enjoy this Vegas Strip night time walking tour!
