Venetian was sold recently to Apollo Funds and they are wasting no time with making improvements. This week Venetian & Palazzo Las Vegas announced a massive $1 billion top to bottom renovation that will see re-dos of the casino, hotel rooms and just about everything else. What should we expect and what will happen to the Italian theming?

In other news we got an update on the Mirage’s transition to Hard Rock including when we might see the new name come to the Strip plus when the sale might possibly close. We also talk about the new pizza ATMs and how the food looks, Criss Angel’s shocking announcement about his new show and a hot new carnival slot that will remind you of your favorite childhood game.
