The Offer

Here’s how to qualify for your bonus:

1. Open an Everyday Checking account online (from this webpage only) by January 25, 2019.
2. Make a minimum opening deposit of $25 to fund your account.
3. To receive a $150 bonus, within 60 calendar days of account opening, receive qualifying direct deposits with a cumulative total of $500 or more into the new checking account.
4. If you meet the requirements for the $150 bonus, you are eligible to receive an additional $100 bonus, when you continue to receive qualifying direct deposits with a cumulative total of $500 or more every 30 days for an additional 150 days after the initial 60-day qualification period.

Your $250 bonus will be deposited into your new Everyday Checking account within 45 days after eligibility and qualifications have been met.

Account Fees

The Wells Fargo Everyday Checking account monthly service fee is $10. It can be avoided with:

• $1,500 minimum daily balance
• $500 or more in total qualifying direct deposits
• 10 or more posted debit card purchases/payments
• A linked Wells Fargo Campus ATM or Campus Debit Card.

Wells Fargo has run a similar promotion in the past. You do not qualify, since you can only get one Wells Fargo consumer checking bonus per 12 months.

To get this bonus you need to open an Everyday Checking account by January 25th. Then you need to complete a $500 direct deposit within 60 days to get $150 and five more consecutive $500 monthly direct deposits to get the other $100. You need to keep a $1,500 minimum daily balance to avoid the $10 monthly charge.

Conclusion

This is a nice bonus that can be done from home and it is available nationwide. It does require a direct deposit, which is a bit of a hassle, but a simple ACH has also worked in the past.
