The Westin Desert Willow Villas Palm Desert Timeshare Offer
I am pretty sure reader Kevin has a timeshare rabbit’s foot in his pocket or something because he gets a lot of them. He shared one with me that he just got for the Westin Desert Willow and it looks like a pretty good one.
Details
The Westin Desert Willow is highly rated on Tripadvisor and looks like a pretty nice place in the Palm Springs area. The average rates look to be around $175-$250 per night with taxes included. His offer was for the following:
- 5 Days + 4 Nights in Palm Desert for only $299
- Plus your choice of 15,000 Points or a $75 Visa Gift Card
- You must attend a timeshare presentation and tour of the property.
-
If your schedule is uncertain, you may pay $199 to secure this package, and pay the balance of $100 when you reserve your final vacation dates.
The points would bring a value of around $115 back to you. That would bring the out of pocket cost down to around $200 when taking taxes and fees into account. That is like getting a 4 night stay for the cost of 1 night.
Conclusion
I think this is a pretty solid offer at a property that looks pretty awesome. If you are interested in visiting the area you may want to call the property and see if they would be willing to extend you the offer.
I need to finally get around to booking one of these offers myself. There have been too many good ones lately that I may need to accept some timeshare torture to take advantage of them.

I would love to check this place out for only $299.
Keep in mind that this area is unbearably hot from May through October.
Thanks for the info Bob. Sounds like it would be perfect to get out of the cold around Jan-Feb
And there are time share units at the Westin Hotel property as well, so try to avoid getting placed in one of those. I’ve stayed at those, all the Marriott area timeshares, and the Westin Desert Willow units all in the past year. The Desert Willow is (IMHO) far and away the best Marriott & Westin offer in the area, both in terms of the units themselves and the property..for what it is worth.
Thanks D.A. – good info
Westin tries to instead actually lodge folks in the nearby (older) Mission Hills. Desert Willow is a good offer, but I would nail down the “where” before accepting it.
Good tip – thanks Pam
