WOW Air Sale, 30% Off Select Routes

WOW Air has another sale with some good prices for travel to Iceland and other European counties from several US airports.  Let’s check the details of the offer.

The Offer

Treat yo’self to a spooktacular vacation in Iceland, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels, Copenhagen, Dublin, Frankfurt, Gran Canaria, London, Milan, New Delhi, Paris or Tenerife with the WOWTREAT. Must book by 11/2 and travel from November until March, 2019.

Key Terms

  • To redeem the discount you need to book a round-trip flight from Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, New York, Orlando, Pittsburgh, St. Louis or Washington, D.C. before 11:59 PM (GMT) November 2nd, 2018, or until withdrawal.
  • Travel period is November 1st, 2018 – March 31st, 2019.
  • The discount applies to selected flights during the travel period and is subject to availability.

Fees

WOW’s base fares are usually unbelievable but prepare yourself to pay for any extras and don’t assume anything will be free. WOW Air charges for almost everything, so make sure you go over their list of fees before booking. You’re only allowed a free carry-on item (17x13x10 in./22 lbs), which is very very small. You’ll have to pay for a carry-on bag and checked luggage.

Conclusion

WOW is a budget airline so this sale is not for everyone. The 30% discount only applies to base fares, so will not really get you 30% off the total price. But it should yield some good deals. Some of the cities included in this sale won’t have WOW Air service for long, so this might be your last chance for cheap travel to Europe.
