15,000/$150 Carnival Cruise Offer on Barclay Cards
I received an offer via email from Barclaycard for my Barclay Arrival+ card. It is being reported that the offer also showed up on the Aviator card by FlyinJaT too!
Barclaycard is offering a 15,000 point bonus worth $150 or a $150 statement credit if you book any Carnival Cruise voyage with your card. Let’s take a look at the details.
Details of the Offer
The offer terms on my Arrival+ are as follows:
- You must make your purchase between 2/16-3/15/2018
- The terms do not specify a travel by date
- The terms do not specify a minimum purchase amount
- You must book directly with Carnival Cruise or a Carnival Cruise approved travel agent
- The 15,000 points will post within 6-8 weeks after the promo ends
The offer on the Aviator is the same but it offers a $150 statement credit instead of points.
I find it interesting that they did not specify a travel by date or a minimum purchase amount. There are some sub $200 per person cruises on the website departing from Miami and Long Beach. This could be a decent option for a quick, cheap getaway.
If you recently signed up for the Barclay Arrival+ card and are sitting on the 40,000 point sign up bonus you could get your whole trip covered.
Conclusion
It is nice to see Barclaycard teaming up with outside sources to offer their card holders some extra perks. If you were already planning on a cruise and got the offer then this is a win win for you!
I am not sure how targeted the promotion is. Let me know in the comments section if you received the offer too and for which card.

I assume “booking” would mean “paying in full” and not just a deposit? Any experiences?
I am not sure. The terms were pretty light on details.
mark or folks,
how long does Barclay offer a full AF refund after it’s posted? is it 30 days or longer? my arrival+ recd the offer but thought about downgrade the acct to no AF cash rewards around 3/1 (AF posted on 2/1)
If using the card to book a cruise now then downgrade later with the same acct #, will the acct still receive the $150 cr? Thx
I believe Barclaycard is 60 days.
I received it with the Barclay Aviator Silver Card:
“Book a Carnival cruise with your AAdvantage® Aviator™ Silver Mastercard® between 2/16/2018 and 3/15/2018 and you’ll receive a $150 statement credit. It’s that easy, there’s no catch, it’s just our way of saying thanks for being a cardmember.”
Awesome – thanks Ed!
