150K+5K Amex Business Gold Offer

150K+5K Amex Business Gold Offer

Big offers from American Express are nothing new. We have seen a variety of offers, especially for business credit cards. The Amex Business Gold card now has a new targeted offer for 150,000 Membership rewards, plus another 5,000 for adding an employee card. Let’s see the details.

Amex Business Gold Offer Details

Earn 150,000 Membership Rewards after spending $10,000 in the first 3 months of card membership. There’s also an additional 5,000 Membership Rewards bonus after adding an Employee Card and spending $1,000 within the first 3 months. The $375 annual fee is NOT waived.

Check this direct link to the offer, or just start a google search and click the first link that you see in the search results. The offer you get through Google with not have the extra 5,000 Employee Card bonus. You should still try referral links first before pulling the trigger through the direct link.

Card Details

The American Express Business Gold comes with a pretty great earning structure if the categories line up with your spending patterns. It is an underrated card in my opinion with a 4X earning cap 6X larger than the personal Amex Gold.

  • Earn 4x Membership Rewards on the two categories your business spends the most each billing cycle. Good for up to $150,000 in combined purchases each calendar year in the following categories.
    • Purchases at U.S. media providers for advertising in select media (online, TV, radio)
    • U.S. purchases at restaurants, including takeout and delivery
    • U.S. purchases at gas stations
    • Monthly wireless telephone service charges made directly from a provider in the U.S.
    • Transit purchases including trains, taxicabs, rideshare services, ferries, tolls, parking, buses, and subways.
    • U.S. purchases made from electronic goods retailers and software & cloud system providers
  • Earn up to $20 in statement credits each month for eligible purchases at FedEx, Grubhub, and Office Supply Stores. Enrollment required.
  • Walmart+ Membership Credit for a monthly Walmart + membership (subject to auto-renewal).

Conclusion

This is a great offer, especially if you can get it to show up through referrals, or even direct links. Just keep in mind that you need to complete $10,000 in spending. That won’t be reachable for everyone. Don’t force it if you don’t think it works for you, and just look at other options.

  1. How is Amex at matching offers? I just got a 70K offer that I finished the $10K for but now I have an email for the 150K offer. Any suggestions on whether to try to get matched for the higher offer on the card I just opened, try for the new offer also, both, or just stick with the 70K I have? Thanks!

  2. FYI, the offer that you linked does not have the lifetime bonus language. I was able to get a 5th Biz Gold for me and P2. Thanks!
