Discover Is Sending Out 5% Back On Amazon To Targeted Cardholders

5% Back On Amazon With Discover

Discover is sending out emails to targeted cardmembers to earn 5% back on Amazon purchases. This is in addition to their normal 5% back rotating quarterly categories. You probably won’t care if you still have capacity on your Chase Freedom Flex card for this quarter. But if you are a heavy Amazon user or don’t have a Freedom Flex card this could be a great option for you.

Offer Details

Earn 5% back on Amazon from July 1st 2022 – August 31st 2022 on up to $1,000 in purchases.

You must activate via the link in the email.

The email header is: Special Offer: earn 5% cash back at Amazon.com

Final Thoughts

I am always kind of meh on the Amazon quarters and this is more of the same. I would prefer to buy Amazon gift cards at the grocery store and earn the fuel points on top of 4X Membership Rewards with my Amex Gold card. If you have an Amazon Prime card then this offer is pretty much worthless too.

I wish this stacked with their Amazon quarter to earn a combined 10% back. Then we would be cooking!
