Airbnb Sign Up Bonus: Get Up To $50 Off Your First Stay & More

Airbnb has shaken up the travel world since launching in 2008.  It has opened up a ton of new options, and markets, for short term rentals.  In the past renting an apartment or house could be somewhat cumbersome or you had to know someone who knew someone to make it happen.  Airbnb was a big part of changing that narrative and now people have a ton more options when traveling.  On the other side, homeowners are now able to make extra income and find renters much easier than in the past. Airbnb has been even more valuable in 2020 because it allows people to still travel while being socially distanced. That is why this increased Airbnb sign up bonus is an amazing offer. If you have never tested the Airbnb waters you can get up to $50 off your first stay!

My Experience With Airbnb

In the past I personally have not been a huge fan of Airbnb, if I am being honest.  I have always been more of a hotel person. I like the consistency that the hotel experience offers and with points I can travel for free. A few years ago I shared the mixed results from my first stay at an Airbnb.

I have also written about issues with their gift cards over the years. These can offer some massive discounts on your bookings (when you use them right) but they come with some unfriendly rules.  Be sure to read the article linked above before diving into them.

Having said all of that I went back to Airbnb this past summer for a family vacation. With everything going on we felt better renting a house where we would have our own space. And let me tell you, it was a fantastic trip!  The pictures shared throughout this post are from that vacation.  I was even able to use a sign up bonus to offset some of the cost.  I think more and more people considering Airbnb now more than ever because they look at it as a way that they can still safely travel.

Final Thoughts

If you are considering giving Airbnb a try be sure to take advantage of this Airbnb sign up bonus. Their offers change somewhat frequently, and this is one of their best offers, so it is a perfect time to take advantage of it.

If you have been cooped up in your house for the past 6 months and can not take it anymore then take a trip a few hours away. You won’t believe how much a change of scenery can do for you. Take it from me, it still brings all of the joys of travel that you have been missing out on this year 😉.
