Airline News: 20% Off Alaska First Class & 3 New Routes on Spirit

There are two new airline related news/deals that came out today.  Alaska is offering 20% off first class flights during the holiday season with a code. And Spirit Airlines has announced 3 new direct routes today as well.

Alaska is giving you the chance to save some money while riding in the big comfy seats:

  • 20% off First Class flights from 12/23-12/31/18
  • Use code FIRSTCLASSHOLIDAY
  • Book before 12/12/18 at 11:59pm PST

Pretty limited deal but may come in handy for last minute, probably expensive, holiday travel plans. Or maybe a status run or two :).

Spirit Airlines New Routes

Spirit Airlines announced three new direct routes to, and from, Indianapolis.  These will be bookable for Spring 2019.  Should be just in time to miss the tail end of the colder weather.

  • Las Vegas
  • Myrtle Beach
  • Orlando

Those are 3 highly desired routes. Any time direct routes are added by an airline it is a good thing.

As you know I recently flew Spirit Airlines and survived!  Not only did I survive but I kind of enjoyed it.  Be sure to check out my tips and tricks before flying Spirit and also remember to book your tickets at the airport to save $40 on every round trip flight!
