Alaska Airlines 25k + $100 Statement Credit Link
As part of my roundup yesterday I linked to an article on Points Centric showing how to get the 25,000 Mile + $100 statement credit Alaska Airlines credit card offer to show up. (The normal public offer doesn’t have the credit.)
Unfortunately at that time the only way to get the offer was through their website after searching for a flight. Thankfully things are much simpler now since Maximizing Money has found a working 25k + $100 statement link.
The Offer
As a reminder here are some details of this offer:
- Get a $100 statement credit after making at least $1,000 in purchases within 90 days of your new credit card account open date.
- Get 25,000 Bonus Miles upon approval.
- Receive a Coach Companion Fare every year from $121(USD) ($99, plus taxes and fees from $22.)
- Earn 3 miles for every qualifying dollar in purchases of Alaska Airlines tickets, Vacation packages and Cargo purchases
- No mileage cap. There’s no limit to the number of miles you can earn with the Alaska Airlines Visa Signature card
My Take
I actually got this card during my last application round, but was only approved for a $1,000 credit line and thus was given only 5,000 miles. (Bank of America doesn’t like me.) Thankfully even if you get the lesser card, the statement credit still applies.
Since the Alaska Airlines card is churnable, many people like to get one as often as possible. Alaska Airlines miles are valuable since they have some amazing partners including Cathay Pacific and Emirates.
Conclusion
While you could’ve received the $100 statement credit by jumping through hoops yesterday, thankfully that really isn’t needed. Thanks to Maximizing Money for finding the working link!

How long does it take for statement credit to show up? My annual fee showed up 5 days after i received the card and my statement came with no credit on it even though i spent $1200.
Does the $75 annual fee they charge count towards the $1,000 needed to be eligible for the $100 statement credit?
No unfortunately annual fees never count towards minimum spend requirements.
Wow, great job with finding the link. Now I don’t have to go through fake bookings 😉
Btw, my credit score is high 600s, like 670ish.
getting approved for the 25,000 miles usually requires an excellent credit. Also, I have noticed being a Bofa customer helps in getting the cards also.
You shouldn’t have trouble getting most cc’s with a 670. I’ve been approved for just over 30 cards in the past 2 years and my rating has ranged from 620-720, spending most of the time in the middle.
Very new to this hobby and thank you for your good work, I’ve learned a lot. My question is, I have a good relationship with my local BofA and Chase banks. Pretty crappy credit score, but high income. Do you think it’s a good idea to apply in person, meaning would it give me a better chance of getting approved for these reward cards? Not to mention I can always ask if they have better in branch offers? I’m afraid of my credit getting dinged for applying too often. Right now, all I have is the Chase freedom and Sapphire Preferred and I’d like to apply for more. Many thanks!
You can do whatever you feel more comfortable with, but the local banker is not going to be the one approving your application. In fact, most of the time when you go into a local bank they fill out a very similar online application to what you would at home. If you are not approved instantly then a credit analyst will look over your application.
That doesn’t mean that your local banker can’t advocate for you and it never hurts to look for better in branch offers. If you are more comfortable going into a branch, then by all means go for it. With this particular offer, I’m not sure if it is available in branch or not with the $100 statement credit.
Thanks for the input!
