Allegiant Free Drinks and Premium “Allegiant First” Seats
Allegiant is making several changes to its onboard experience, including free nonalcoholic drinks for all passengers and a new premium seating product called Allegiant First.
Beginning August 1, 2026, passengers on all Allegiant flights will receive complimentary beverage service. Free options will include soda, juice and water. Allways Rewards Visa cardholders will continue to receive one additional beverage per flight, with eligible choices including coffee, sports drinks, protein shakes or an alcoholic drink with a mixer worth up to $16.
The most notable change will arrive next year, when Allegiant begins introducing Allegiant First on select aircraft. The new cabin will have eight seats arranged in a 2-2 configuration at the front of the plane. Seats will offer a 37-inch pitch, five inches of recline, calf rests, adjustable headrests and additional legroom.
Allegiant First fares will also include priority check-in and boarding, along with one personal item, one carry-on bag and one checked bag weighing up to 70 pounds. The airline expects the first flights to launch in spring 2027, while tickets are scheduled to go on sale in mid-August. Aircraft assignments, routes and additional onboard details will be announced later this year.
The airline says the new cabin will complement Allegiant Extra rather than replace it. The changes also come as Allegiant continues integrating Sun Country and works toward more consistent onboard offerings across the combined airline.
