You can earn a total of 85,000 Membership Rewards points, but you also need to spend a total of $20,000 to receive it in full. The person referring also gets a 15,000 points bonus. Conclusion
This is a good offer for the Amex Business Platinum Card, even with the high spending requirement. We have seen better in the past, but if stacked with the referral bonus, it can still get you 100K points.
The current public offer is for 75,000 Membership Rewards points wit a total spending requirement of $20,000. I would take the extra 10K points and a referral bonus for the extra $5K in spending.
But you need to make sure that you can complete the spending requirement. With American Express enforcing all the terms, it is not as easy as it used to be. Also stay away from self referrals.
