Amex Gold Card Now Has 20K Points Referral Bonuses

American Express has a great referral system. You can refer people to almost any American Express credit card, and you can get great referral bonuses as well. Just make sure to stay away from self referrals. Just have a friend or family member refer you, or vice versa.

Now there’s some good news for those who have the American Express Gold Card as far as referrals go. The referral bonus has been increased to 20,000 Membership Rewards points for each person you refer and is approved for a new card. This bonus was previously 10,000 points only.

The annual limit for referral bonuses is still at 55,000 points for each card. But you can now maximize it with 3 referrals. This seems to be targeted, so check your account if you have a Gold Card and hopefully you have the increased bonus there. You can find referral links here.

Conclusion

This is as good as it gets for referral bonuses, although we have seen some limited time 25K bonuses in the past for Amex cards. Hopefully some of you are targeted. Let us know in the comments.
