Another Amazing Amex Spending Offer
I don’t know if American Express has a stash of Hilton points they are looking to burn or what. First they had a 40K spending offer, then a 20K spending offer, then an Amazon offer, and now they are giving away 10K with this offer. This all after they were giving out 150K upgrade bonuses right and left. This latest Amex spending offer is the easiest to complete in my opinion.
Details of the Offer
I was emailed the offer for my Aspire card. In the past they sent out the same offer to each version of their Hilton cards so other flavors may be targeted for this one as well. Interesting that I received this on my Aspire card and that is the only Hilton card we have that was not targeted for any of the offers listed above. I guess they want to get everyone in on the fun!
The details of the offer are:
Enroll your Hilton Aspire Card and earn 10,000 Hilton Honors Bonus Points after you spend $200 on eligible purchases on your Card at U.S. supermarkets by 11/30/2018.
That is about as easy as it gets right there! I am going to be rolling in Hilton points by the time 2019 rolls in :).
Conclusion
I love spending offers since they are like getting welcome bonuses without a hard pull. These are coming at the perfect time with all of the Holiday deals and spending approaching.
I would stay away from the easy route of purchasing gift cards since Amex has been cracking down on those type of things.

Has anybody gotten the 10K points? All the promos say 6 to 10 weeks, but it almost never takes that long. My wife signed up for the offer and spent over $200 about a week before her November statement mid month, I really thought that the place would have posted by now.
How long does it take for points to post? I registered and reached spend limits, no points.
I think the terms said sometime in December although they have 8-10 weeks after the promo to do it.

If you get this offer on the Ascend but then upgrade to Aspire will it still apply?
I think it would since it is tied to the account but you could always ask Amex before upgrading.
I got the Amazon $500/13pt offer and the $200/10K grocery offer on my Ascend card. My wife got both on her Aspire card.

Maybe, but I have 1 AMEX Biz, the Aspire, PLAT, Gold, and 2 Delta cards, and not a single one of those offers. Frustrating.
These have only been aimed at Hilton cards but I am surprised you didn’t get one of them on your Aspire.

My offer is for 13X Hilton points for up to $500 spend on Amazon thru 1/29/19. They are getting my Amazon business this quarter.
That one was a good one as well. It seems like most people got 1 of these 4 offers.
