And also so they can win price wars. This is like saying basic economy is going to be a cheaper option for customers. No it is the old main cabin price while they charge more for main cabin now.

A lot of people love JetBlue for their service and their Mint seats. Do they have a CEO that actually gets it? Or was it just a show? That is for you to decide. Great news this week that they will be expanding their service to London though.

Scott Kirby and his ilk, along with every board member, should be required to fly middle seats in regular economy (boarding last) on every flight. This would provide the desperately needed insight as to what the vast majority of passengers are experiencing on a daily basis.
