CITI SHUTDOWN: CITI CLOSED ALL MY CREDIT CARDS – Travel in Points

It does seem like fraud alerts can be the kiss of death.  I wonder if there was a spike in spending at all or if it was solely based on too many recent applications etc.

The World’s Worst Types of Tourists: From ‘Begpackers’ to Exhibitionists – CNA Lifestyle

Some of these stories are pretty crazy, like pulling a dolphin out of the water to take selfies with it. That goes along with my theory that social media has distorted travel and it has created poor decisions in the name of selfies. A while back we shared our Facebook Group’s top ten list of travel pet peeves.

This is getting scary.  It seems like Boeing may have a cultural issue going on that may be leading to less than satisfactory work.  I shared my list of articles that we found most damning about the 737 MAX situation but it looks like the problems may go further than that.

  1. I supported Boeing at first/am a Boeing fanboy but it has become clear there are some major cultural issues at play. The single AoA sensor MCAS system with pay extra optional safety equipment that was actually essential was a diaster waiting to happen.

But if any news you don’t like is automatically fake news sure Boeing can do no wrong. Unfortunately global aviation sales are are not dominated by the 50% of America that thinks that way so Boeing has some work to do.

  2. Yawn! Haven’t we heard enough lies from the New York Times for two years plus? Personally, I trust Boeing a hundred times more than any drivel published in the NYT……….Expect an insincere apology soon for another gaffe…..
