I Got the Dreaded Amex Pop-up Box…. – Miles for Family

Ah the good ole Amex Pop-up box.  As you guys know I am old friends with the pop-up.  Although I was finally able to break through it with a targeted offer.  We shall see how that works out for me on my next American Express application though. We need more data points like Nancy’s so we can figure out what is triggering these.  It won’t be easy since Amex is making it up as they go along right now.

8 airplanes converted into restaurants – CNN Travel

This is pretty cool and I hope to check out the one in Colorado Springs in May with Shawn.  Be sure to hit up our meetup in Denver that weekend if you are in the area.

  1. Thanks for the link to MFF! I’ve been to the airplane restaurant in Colorado Springs. Make sure you make a reservation to sit in the airplane part. The restaurant outside of the airplane is quite large, so without a reservation you could end up sitting there instead (although there are still some very cool decorations in the “regular” table section). We will be in Taupo, NZ this summer, so I’ll definitely be eating in the airplane McDonalds there!

    • Great tip Nancy – I will make sure to get a reservation. I can’t wait to see pics from the McDonalds 🙂
