7.5K each way to Hawaii: The sweetest spot we’ve been missing – Frequent Miler
A pretty awesome tip from Nick. I hate having to call in to book tickets but this one is probably worth the hassle. If you don’t mind flying United that is :).
Amsterdam’s First Female Mayor Proposes Red-Light District Revamp – Travel Pulse
On my recent trip to Amsterdam I noticed the area is very overcrowded and kind of a mess of drunk tourists. But I doubt the bar & restaurant owners in the area will be happy about the change. I also wonder what the sex workers will think of it because I think making it harder to get to them would be bad for business. But I do think Amsterdam is against their boom in tourism and are looking for ways to break up the crowds. This would certainly drive down foot traffic to the area though which looks to be their main goal.
A restaurant got a rare blue lobster in its shipment. Instead of cooking it, the owner is donating it to an aquarium – CNNÂ
Color me surprised. You see what I did there 🤔🤣? If I was in the area I would probably stop by. I didn’t know this was possible.

okay, so what about the flights to Hawaii for practically nothing??? any details?
Nick’s article (linked above) has all of the detail for you.
Originally from Maine. Blue lobsters are very rare but you do see them from time to time. Crazy rare are white lobsters (they’re rare to begin with & they stick out and are thus eaten but predators when they’re young) Google it, they’re definitely weird looking.
I am totally about to waste 10-15 minutes reading all about blue and white lobsters and I will love every minute of it 🙂
Hey Mark! The blue lobster donation… Which aquarium is highly significant in this case. It is going to the St. Louis aquarium. Home of the NHL Champions St. Louis Blues. 🙂
I saw that – a very cool touch!
