Pretty elaborate operation. I don’t find it too surprising that they were selling the cards to CardCash. I have had more issues with drained cards on there than anywhere. That is why I pretty much only buy from Raise these days.

This is pretty much in lock step with what we suggested when this first came out. Then Chase came out and said they wouldn’t close your accounts if you opted out, which was a worry for some. There is still some risk of eyes on your account though.
One blogger took exception to our piece and claimed arbitration is better for the consumer anyway. That does not appear to be believed by anyone but arbitration attorneys…from the article:
