Articles

‘Buy now, pay later’ explodes in popularity – CreditCards.com

This has always been around with furniture stores or computer purchases etc. but it seems to be growing elsewhere now.  Always be careful with these offers since you often get hit with a big interest bill if you don’t pay it off before the offer goes away.  Having said that taking advantage of 0% offers can have their perks if you could then use that money elsewhere to make more money with it.

[Dead – Letter Sent Out] American Express Hilton Aspire Upgrade Offer – No AF First Year – Doctor of Credit

I wonder if they will fight it and say it was an obvious error since the terms state a prorated $95 annual fee instead of a $450 annual fee? It is sad they won’t honor their error but at least they are giving people some time to downgrade / cancel if they want.

Stimulus Package, Including Travel Relief, Appears Imminent – Travel Pulse

I would imagine this will get voted on next week.  We shall see if there is any last minute grandstanding though.
