ONCE YOU EXPERIENCE INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS CLASS, CAN YOU EVER GO BACK TO ECONOMY? – Miles for Family

It is hard to go back on longer flights for sure. I have to disagree with Nancy though, flying out to Europe in business class is the way to go :). Getting sleep on that overnight and hitting the ground running adds essentially another day to your trip.  I will often do business out and economy on the day time flight back.

Hawaiian Airlines Reservation Systems Are Overwhelmed – Honolulu Civil Beat

Even though travel numbers are nowhere near where they were in 2019 we are seeing stuff like this happen all over the place.  The travel industry is not keeping up with demand, they move slowly, and that is why it is going to be a bumpy ride all summer long.

Mastercard Gift Cards No Longer Process at Walmart as Debit – Doctor of Credit

Another avenue at Walmart bites the dust.  This isn’t as big of a deal since MCGC were a pain at Walmart anyway but it will hurt some of you for sure.  At least this was known before the latest Office Depot deal came out.

  1. I find it hard to justify business on an 8hr flight from the east coast USA to western Europe. I get the business out, econ back thing but when I’ve done those flights in business, I’ve still been fighting to keep my eyes open late in the afternoon which isn’t much different than econ. From west coast USA it’s a much better proposition IMO.

    • 8 hours does seem to be in that I could go either way with it territory. If it was a daytime flight then economy would be fine for me but I can’t sleep at all sitting up. Anyone who can is golden for sure.

  2. Has Walmart switched to Western Union yet? I wonder if and when they do switch if things will change and make these cards work again?
