Bilt and Qatar Airways Add 3X Avios Earning on Rent

Bilt and Qatar Airways Privilege Club have expanded their partnership with a new benefit Qatar cardholders.

Starting August 5, Bilt members who pay rent through Bilt with an eligible Qatar Airways Privilege Club credit card can earn a total of 3 Avios per $1 on up to $50,000 in rent payments per calendar year. The benefit is available with the:

• Qatar Airways Privilege Club Visa Signature Credit Card
• Qatar Airways Privilege Club Visa Infinite Credit Card

Both cards are issued through Cardless, which also issues the Bilt card. At the maximum $50,000 annual rent limit, members could earn up to 150,000 Avios from rent payments.

So what’s the catch? These rent payments come with a 3% fee, which means that it only makes sense to use this benefit if you need to get spending done on the card, or if you value Avios more than 1 cent each.

The announcement expands on the existing relationship between Bilt and Qatar Airways. Bilt members can already transfer Bilt Points to Qatar Airways Privilege Club Avios at a 1:1 ratio.
