Bilt Rewards Adds Two Popular Transfer Partners

We have talked about Bilt Rewards in the past. It offers renters the ability to pay their monthly rent, earn rewards, and avoid fees typically associated with paying by credit card. You don’t need to have the Bilt Mastercard to earn points, but it does give you a huge boost.

Rewards then can be redeemed for payment of next month’s rent, or you can transfer them to hotel and airline programs. And for the latter you now have more options. Bilt Rewards announced today the addition of two new transfer partners.

The two new additions are United Mileage Plus and Cathay Pacific Asia Miles. The Cathay Asia Miles program is already available today for transfers, while United Mileage Plus will be available sometime in mid-April. For both programs, and most of other travel partners, you must transfer in 1,000 point increments and transfers are nearly instant.

Bilt Rewards Transfer Partners

With today’s additions, you now have 11 options to transfer your Bilt Rewards at a ratio of 1:1. Nine of these options are airline programs, while two are hotels. Here’s the full list:

  • American Airlines AAdvantage
  • Air Canada Aeroplan
  • Air France / KLM Flying Blue
  • Cathay Pacific Asia Miles
  • Emirates Skywards
  • Hawaiian Airlines Hawaiian Miles
  • Turkish Airlines Miles & Smiles
  • United Mileage Plus (mid-April)
  • Virgin Atlantic Flying Club
  • World of Hyatt
  • IHG Rewards

We haven’t personally tested all of these partners, but we have been told in many cases transfers are instant.

Conclusion

It’s always a good thing when new transfer partners are added to a program. You get more options to redeem points which makes those points more versatile, and likely more valuable. Even more so in this case, where Bilt Rewards is adding two popular programs such as United Mileage Plus and Cathay Pacific Asia Miles.
