Brex Launches $500 Bonus for New Business Customers

Brex has launched a new sign-up offer that lets eligible new customers earn a $500 gift card when opening a new business account. The promotion is available through July 31, 2026. Let’s see how it works.

The Offer

In order to qualify for this bonus, you must apply and be approved for a new Brex account by July 31, 2026, then activate your account within 30 days of approval by completing one of the following requirements:

  • Spend $2,500 on your Brex card, or
  • Deposit $50,000 into your Brex business account.

OFFER PAGE

The bonus is paid as a $500 gift card after the qualifying requirements are met. Applicants who qualify for a Brex card must also make at least one successful payment on their outstanding balance before the bonus is awarded.

The same bonus is also available through referral links, but it looks like it required double the spend.

About Brex

Brex doesn’t charge monthly maintenance fees and is geared toward startups and small businesses looking for modern banking and expense management tools.

The Brex business account consists of Checking, a commercial checking account provided by Column N.A., Member FDIC (an unaffiliated institution), and Treasury and Vault, cash management services provided by Brex Treasury LLC, Member FINRA/SIPC and a Capital One company.

They closed many accounts back in 2022. They dropped tens of thousands of small business customers to focus on bigger venture-backed clients.

Conclusion

This is a solid $500 bonus from Brex. The $2,500 spending requirement is relatively easy to meet, making it the more attractive option to earn the bonus. But even the $50,000 deposit could be doable as it’s only required to keep the money in the account for 24 hours based on reports at Doctor of Credit.

It’s worth mentioning that the exact $2,500 spending and $50,000 deposit thresholds are not displayed on the public promotional page or in the terms.
