Brex Cardholders, Get $1,000 Bonus with PayPal Merchant Processing
Update 6/30/21: The Miles Man reported that he finally received his bonus so be sure to check your account if you got in on this offer.
Remember that this offer is no longer available.
PayPal has an offer for current Brex cardholders that can earn you 100,000 Brex point. That’s worth a whopping $1,000, just as good as the signup bonus most cardholders have received when they first got their Brex cards. To earn this bonus you need to have the card already, or apply for it and then sign up for PayPal Merchant Processing.
There are no monthly fees to worry about, but you have to pay processing fees that vary between 2.7% and 2.9%. Let’s check some of the details.
The Offer
Get 100,000 Brex points as a bonus when you sign up for PayPal Merchant Processing.
- Visit this landing page and complete the form
- A PayPal sales associate will reach out to identify the right solution for your business
- 100,000 Brex points will be granted after the contract and integration are complete and payment processing begins
Key Terms
- Offer available for new PayPal processing customers only, must include card processing in the integration.
- Find the offer here, after you log in.
Conclusion
This offer is for current Brex cardholders, or those who apply now. The bonus though is down to just $250 for new members, down from $1,100.
As for this PayPal bonus, you will need to fill out the form and then talk to a PayPal sales associate. So you will probably need to find out more details on how exactly the 100,000 Brex points bonus works.

Finally received 100K points a few days ago. Brex rep said that there were some issues with PayPal sending over data on who had signed up.
did anyone got the points already?
I don’t think anyone has gotten them yet. DoC site is most active with data points. Most people are being told that Brex is ‘waiting on the list’ from Paypal and they should post next week…although they’ve been saying that for over two weeks.
Yup, that’s what they told me just last week. “Thanks for your patience.”
UPDATE: Just got my 100,000 points credited today! YAY!
I just signed up and talked to a Paypal representative. I already have a Paypal Account and just added the required services. I am currently using Square to process credit card charges.
I asked the Paypal representative who is awarding the miles. Brex or Paypal and she said it’s Brex and their promotion. I asked her how they will track the bonus and she said the email address on the Paypal account had to match the email address for Brex.
She added it over the phone while I waited and asked to do a sample $1 charge which I did. I emailed Mitch at Brex and he said it can take up to 30 days to credit. I’ll definitely use Paypal to process credit cards vs. Square.
It took a bit of time to open up my Brex account but every time I emailed, they emailed me back ASAP (usually Mitch from customer support). He is fabulous and everything they advertised works perfectly.
I think they will grow tremendously like Paypal did. I remember in the early days, Paypal was paying whopping fees to members and I thought it was nuts at the time but they grew tremendously. Customer support was crappy. But Brex Customer service is really great.
This is fantastic and I’d say too good to be true but the 100,000 Brex Points I received was the easiest points I ever received. Points transferred quickly to LifeMiles. I will sign up for this. I used to use Paypal Merchant processing and they charged $30/month + 2.9%. Now the monthly is free!
This seems interesting. Already signed up and got the 80k sign-up bonus (already transferred to Air France FlyingBlue in case Brex changed its mind).
But I’m curious about this “processing fee” and what exactly that is. Is this when you utilized the specific accepting or paying of payments using PayPal Merchant Processing?
Do you have to use the PayPal Merchant Processing at all after you sign up?
