Capital One Offers 30% Bonus for Virgin Red Transfers

Two years ago Capital One added Virgin Red as a transfer partner. That means that Capital One miles cardholders can normally transfer to Virgin Red at a 1:1 miles transfer ratio. Virgin Red is the loyalty program for the Virgin family of brands.

But if you plan to sail with Virgin Voyages, book a stay with Virgin Limited Edition, or fly with Virgin Atlantic and its partner airlines, then you can get a 30% boost when you transfer Capital One Miles to Virgin Red.

This 30% transfer bonus is available for miles earning cards such as Venture X, Venture, VentureOne, Venture X Business or Spark Miles cardholders.

The promotion runs throughout the month of April. With the added bonus you can transfer 1,000 Capital One Miles by April 30 and receive a total of 1,300 Virgin Points.

Virgin Points never expire, so you can take advantage of this promotion even if you don’t need to book a Virgin experience right away. However, these transfers are final, so it’s important to have a redemption in mind.

  1. Can you only use Virgin Red points for a cruise when they are running a special promo? I haven’t found a way to redeem their points for a cruise.
