Chase Extends DashPass Benefit for Most Cardmembers

Chase offers free DashPass for most cardholders. This is DoorDash’s subscription service which gets you unlimited deliveries with a $0 delivery fee and reduced service fees on eligible orders over $12. It normally costs $9.99 per month. This benefit is also available for Caviar which is now owned by DoorDash.

Chase Sapphire cardholders and most other co-brand cards get free DashPass for one year, while Freedom cards  get it for only three months. If you have more than one of the eligible cards, you can add a new one to your account once your previous free period is about to end. That will get you another year or another three months.

The last date to enroll for this benefit was December 31, 2021. But now Chase has extended the enrollment period by another three months, through 3/31/22.

On the Chase website it still shows 12/31 on the main landing page. But once you log into your eligible Chase account, you will see the new 3/31/22 date.

Exclusive DashPass benefits are available when using your Chase credit card as the default payment method with your activated DashPass subscription. You won’t be able to access exclusive DashPass benefits if you remove your eligible Chase credit card as your default payment method.
