Chase Transfer Bonuses for Aeroplan

Chase announced this month a promotion, offering 20% more points when transferring Ultimate Rewards to Aeroplan. The promotion runs through mid-January, and it gets even better if you have the Aeroplan Card. Let’s see the details.

The Offer

Limited time offer: Get 20% Bonus Aeroplan points when you transfer points between 12:00 AM ET on December 4, 2023 and 11:59 PM ET on January 15, 2024. Bonus points will be awarded by Aeroplan in your Aeroplan account when your transfer is complete. Promotional offer terms and conditions apply.

The normal transfer ratio from Chase to Aeroplan is 1:1. With the added bonus, you get 1,200 Aeroplan Points for every 1,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points transferred.

  • Valid through 11:59PM ET on January 15, 2024.
  • Minimum transfer is 1,000 Ultimate Rewards points.
  • Transfer points here.

Conclusion

This is a good promotion if you find value in redeeming Chase Ultimate Rewards through Air Canada’s Aeroplan program. You can get 20% more Aeroplan points when you transfer by January 15.

But it gets even better if you have an Aeroplan® Credit Card. If you transfer at least 50,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points, you will receive an additional 10% bonus (up to a maximum of 25,000 bonus points per year). When stacked with the transfer bonus, 50,000 Chase points turn into 65,000 Aeroplan points.

With that said, I wouldn’t transfer points speculatively, as these transfers are not reversible.
