Amex Offers 20% Bonus for Point Transfers to Hawaiian Airlines

American Express has started the new year with a transfer bonus for its Membership Rewards program. Throughout the month of January, you can get a 20% when you transfer your points to Hawaiian Airlines. Let’s take a look at the details.

Hawaiian Airlines

Get 20% more HawaiianMiles when you transfer Membership Rewards points through 1/21/2023.

  • 1000 Membership Rewards points = 1000 1200 HawaiianMiles

You need to transfer a minimum of 1,000 points, and in increments of 1,000 points, up to a maximum of 999,000 points. Transfer are usually instant but may take as long as 48 hours in some rare cases. You can transfer points here.

Conclusion

We have seen this Hawaiian Airlines bonus in the past. We used to see bonuses of 25% a couple of years ago, but lately it has been at 20%.

If you want to have an idea of how far your Hawaiian miles will take you, check out the airline’s award chart. It’s not a good idea to transfer miles speculatively, but if you have a redemption in mind, this offer could be useful.
