Circus Circus Tour & Adventuredome Reopening

Vegas has now been open for more than a week and tourists are coming from all over the country to drink, gamble and be merry despite some oddities like a lack of masks and COVID surcharges. In fact demand has been so high that more casinos have announced their reopening dates. It’s a positive sign for the casinos and those in the community who rely on them for work.

While drinking and gambling seems to work well for the above 21 crowd, younger folks and families now have something to enjoy as well. Yesterday Adventuredome, the Vegas local amusement park if you will, opened its doors once again. We were there to tour the park and see exactly how things have changed.

A Look Inside Circus Circus & Adventuredome

During the video I’ll take you on a tour of Adventuredome and discuss some of the park’s interesting history. Then we head out of the park and visit the casino, midway and even pop out to the Las Vegas Strip. It was good to be inside of an amusement/theme park again, especially with small crowds at opening.

During my hour or so at Circus Circus I was able to socially distance 100% and stay away from others, but with higher crowds that could be a problem. You’ll see throughout the video that at times walkways are narrow and I expect it will be fairly difficult to maintain distance at all times. Adventuredome is an indoor theme park as well with recirculated air, so keep that in mind if you visit.

Bottom Line

Circus Circus and the Adventuredome theme park are both open to guests! This summer they have extended hours from 10am to 9pm every single day in an effort to attract families back to the north end of the Vegas Strip. With roller coasters, tons of rides and my personal favorite the midway games, I suspect the old hotel/casino will be hopping.

What do you think of the social distancing and other measures they have taken inside of one of the world’s largest indoor amusement parks. Is that enough and are you going to visit?

  1. Circus Circus is where I stay during NAB. It has always been a decent, budget stay in Vegas on the Strip. I stay in West Tower rooms which are fine. Hotel definitely could use some sprucing up & I hope new owner does that, and keeps Circus Circus going for families on a budget. Hoping NAB is back next year & I’ll be at the hotel again.
