Citi Prestige $250 Travel Credit

Citi Prestige $250 Travel Credit Now Applies to Supermarkets and Restaurants

Citi has announced changes to the Prestige card travel credit benefit to better serve cardholders while they are staying home. This is similar to what American Express announced today for some of its premium products. Being able to use some of the travel benefits while staying at home is a huge help to offset the high annual fees.

Citi is temporarily expanding the categories of purchases that qualify for the $250 Travel Credit benefit on the Citi Prestige card to help cardmembers who haven’t already received the full value of this benefit this year.

UPDATE 1/2/21: This offer has been extended for cardholders through 2021.

Prestige $250 Travel Credit

Between May 1, 2020 and December 31, 2020, in addition to eligible Travel purchases, purchases made with a Prestige card at Supermarkets and Restaurants (including takeout) will also count toward this expanded $250 Travel Credit benefit in 2020.

There is no enrollment required. To qualify, cardmembers just must have an open Citi Prestige account at the time the statement credit is posted.
