Delta Amex Offer

There is a valuable new Delta Amex offer, at least for loyal Delta flyers like me, that is going out to targeted cardholders. The offer should net you 22%+ off your next $300 in Delta purchases. That is on the low end of the value actually. The really comical thing though is Amex is encouraging the purchase of gift cards to use the offer. Heck, they are actually requiring it!

Offer Details

Get 6,000 (or $60) additional Membership Rewards points one-time by using your enrolled card to make a single purchase of $300 or more online at delta.com/giftcards/amex for Delta Gift Cards by 12/31/2002.

So far I have reports of seeing this on the Blue Business Plus card.  If you find it on anything else please let me know and I will update the post. I am assuming this is highly targeted like other Delta Amex Offers.

Final Thoughts

I am jealous of anyone who got this offer. I wish I had it on one of my accounts but no luck here. My plan for the gift card would probably be to pair it up with one of my Amex airline incidental credits. Assuming I could make the flight prices line up etc. Killing two birds with one stone and all of that.
