Widely Targeted? Delta Amex Reserve 125K Skymiles Plus 10K MQM Offer

I was poking around on the Delta Reserve card today because I have some decisions to make on my status quest (more on that in another post).  Anyway, I went to the page and was hit with a targeted Delta Reserve offer.  It gives you:

  • 125,000 Delta Skymiles
  • 10,000 Medallion Qualification Miles (MQMs)
  • After $5,000 in spend within the first 3 months
  • $550 annual fee

Amex Delta Reserve Personal & Business Credit Card Review

This offer has been around for a bit but I had two other buddies try the link and they were targeted too.  That is a small sample size, but 3 for 3 seems like it is pretty widely targeted.

The good thing about this offer is that the 10,000 MQMs will roll over to next year with Delta’s recent announcement.  So if you are chasing status then this could make sense.  The 125,000 mile bonus is by far the best we have seen for the card as well.  At 1 cent per point that is $1,250 in value for a $550 annual fee.  You also will get Delta & Centurion lounge access, when flying Delta.

I have said that I think this card works better for me than the Amex Platinum after its recent changes.  That reminds me, I need to update that post now that the full information has come out.

Let me know if you were targeted for the offer as well. You may wanna try your referral links if you have a two player system to see if you can double dip it.

  1. With all of the SkyMiles devaluations, this is really no more generous than previous offers. It just keeps up with the debasement of the SkyPesos

  2. unfortunately I see it but continue to be in pop up jail, even after spending over 6k on an upgraded Amex Platinum card.

    • I’m still in pop up hell even after $100k in amex spend in 2021. And I’m like 2/24 after taking a couple years off SUBs.
