Delta Announces Improvements to Delta Vacations Program
Delta Air Line revealed today a couple of improvement for Delta Vacations.
Delta Vacations is one of the largest vacation providers in the U.S., offering all-in-one, customized and flexible vacation experiences designed for SkyMiles Members. With Delta Vacations, SkyMiles Members can choose getaways that feature Delta’s flight service to more than 300 destinations in 60 countries worldwide
Delta SkyMiles® Members can now get even more value with with this program thanks to enhancements that begin Monday, July 10, 2023. SkyMiles are now worth more when used for Delta Vacations, plus members earn more miles and MQDs than ever before. Let’s see the details.
15% More Value for SkyMiles
Miles are now worth at least 15% more when put toward any Delta Vacations destination at any time. This means SkyMiles Members can get more vacation value for their miles than ever before.
The value of SkyMiles through Delta Vacations was previously a fixed 1 cent per mile. Now you get the extra 15% in value, or 1.15 cents per mile, or even more in some cases. So 10,000 SkyMiles are worth $115
Earn More
When booking Delta Vacations packages, SkyMiles Members can now earn more miles and MQDs than ever before. Additionally, Members can use their miles to cover all or a portion of the vacation package, including hotels, transportation and activities/excursions.
Before, you earned up to 5,000 bonus miles on a Delta Vacations package. Now, you can earn up to 10,000 bonus miles per person on every vacation experience you book, on top of the miles you earn for your flight. Here’s how it works:
You’ll also earn your MQMs and MQSs toward status the same way you would earn if you booked a flight only with Delta.
