Discover Best Buy Cashback Offer

Discover is sending out a targeted Best Buy offer via email to select cardholders. I wasn’t targeted but Daniel B. in the Miles to Memories Facebook group tipped me off. Let’s take a look!

The Offer

Spend $200 by 12/31/16 and get a $20 Cashback Bonus

Need to Know

  • Pay with your Discover card in-store or online.
  • This deal should work on all purchases including gift cards.
  • If you are targeted you will receive the offer via email. There doesn’t seem to be an opt-in and the offer looks to be automatically loaded to your card.

Analysis

This seems like a nice way to get $20 free, especially if you don’t have the Best Buy Amex Offer. If you do end up getting Discover Cash, you can make it grow through strategic gift card purchases as well.
