Founderscard Adds Free Virgin Atlantic Elite Status Benefit
We have covered the Founderscard often here on the site (our full review). The card offers lots of perks and they continue to add more. You get elite status with hotels, car rental companies, airlines and more.
Now yet another benefit has been added. Founderscard members get free Virgin Atlantic Silver Status and an opportunity for fast track to Gold Status. Let’s see the details.
How it Works
FoundersCard members can now receive:
- Complimentary Flying Club Silver Elite Status upgrade for one year, after completing one flight
- Fast Track to Gold Status (earn 500 Tier Points within 6 months)
Here’s how to get started:
- If you’re not already a Flying Club member, enroll here. Otherwise, continue to next step.
- Simply submit the form and your Flying Club account is eligible to be upgraded to Silver status once you have completed at least one leg of a Virgin Atlantic flight. Once you submit this information, please allow up to 6 weeks for processing.
Key Terms
- To qualify for this Flying Club offer, you must register your existing membership or join Flying Club (link provided on the offer page).
- Your status will be applied within 10 business days of your first flight.
- Upgrade is applicable for one year of FoundersCard Membership. (Standard mileage re-qualification requirements apply. Other Terms and Conditions may apply.)
- Receive Fast Track to Flying Club Gold Elite Status when you earn 500 tier points within six months of joining.
Conclusion
Virgin Atlantic elite status is yet another benefits for Founderscard members. Once you enroll, you need to take one flight to get a full year of free Silver status. Then, if you want to go for Gold, you need an additional 500 Tier points. That’s half of the usual1,000 points requirement.
