Frontier is Selling $19 Tickets Again Today but it Isn’t a Great Deal

Frontier’s Sales Are Turning Sour

Frontier really tapped into something last year when they launched a ton of new routes to and from Washington Dulles for just $15 each-way. During that sale a wide variety of dates and routes were available and it was a fantastic deal.

Then we started to see Frontier launch other new routes and more sales. Some of them were decent and some were not. I try only to cover the decent ones here, since I don’t want to waste everyone’s time, but the good deals have been few and far between lately.

Today in a continuation of their tradition of offering a sale on new routes, Frontier is selling fares from $19 on select routes. Unlike past sales, a lot of routes cost more, but that isn’t really my biggest gripe.

Lets take a look at a screenshot of today’s sale:

Do you see it? Yes this fantastic “Here we grow again” sale is limited to Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 5/5 and 6/10. Sure some people may do well during a sale like this, but come on. Compared to previous sales this is a complete dud.

If you are still interested, you can find a full list of routes along with the corresponding fares and terms here. Bookings for this “sale” must be completed by 4/30/15 at 11:59PM Eastern.

Conclusion

Frontier’s sales have really dropped in quality over the past year as has their service level now that they are a low cost carrier. I wanted to post this to show you why you may not see every single deal here. A deal with that many restrictions simply isn’t a deal at all.
