Give Your Amazon Driver a Free $5 Tip

Amazon has added a new feature that lets customers thank their drivers and tip them. This is available to U.S. customers with an Alexa-enabled device (Echo, Echo Show) or the Alexa or Amazon Shopping mobile apps, making it easy to thank drivers in the U.S. anywhere.

They are also letting you send a $5 tip for free. Starting December 21, eligible drivers will be offered $5 per “thank you”. There’s limit of one million tips through this promotion.

Any time a customer says “Alexa, thank my driver,” the driver who delivered their most recent package will be notified of the customer’s appreciation. Drivers will receive $5 at no cost to the customer.

To confirm that your “thank you” has been processed and $5 will be sent to the driver, Alexa will respond, “Glad you enjoyed your most recent delivery. Since you shared your appreciation with your driver, as a special thanks this holiday season, your driver will receive an extra $5 at no cost to you.

This promotion is for a limited time only.
