Groupon local deals can be a great value for activities in your own area, but they are also great to check out when traveling. I always look at what activities are available for cities which I will be visiting soon.

I only recommend buying gift cards ahead of time if you know you will use them. They are much too easy to misplace in my opinion. With that said, if you shop at a certain store a lot, utilizing these gift cards deals can save you a lot of money.
