The links didn’t work for me. Whenever I clicked on the offer to Purchase Now, it states, “You’re One Step Closer to Getting Away. Although this package wasn’t the right fit, see what other offers are available.” Then it directs me to substandard offers. Anyone else have this issue?
Just did one of these with Hilton in Orlando. We changed dates and ended up staying at the Hilton Signia – an official Disney world resort connected to the Waldorf instead of the original Hilton garden inn they booked us at. It was super nice! Presentation and pitch wasn’t bad either. I explained how we don’t pay for trips due to points and miles and our time was up and she said, okay you can leave. I said that’s it?! She said, “I can’t compete with free.” I thought it was well worth it!
I have done these regularly with Hilton over the years a cross a few different locations. One thing to look for and keep in mind is that some of the locations where you do your ‘tour’ is NOT where you may stay…it’s possible that you will be booked into a lesser (value) hotel so always make sure you are able to stay in the actual property (or similar) where the preview takes place. I had this happen with Hyatt as well.
